The new time zone reference 5330G-001 from Fake Patek Philippe, which is now also available in unlimited quantities, eliminates date problems on long-distance travel. This wristwatch with its white gold case costs a recommended price of 75,320 euros.
Innovation without limits
Without a doubt, Patek Philippe is one of the pioneers of wristwatches with time zone features. This indisputable role is consolidated by the innovative Patek Philippe 5330G – 001 reference, which is now also available in unlimited quantities. Its sophisticated design eliminates difficulties on long-distance travel beyond the international date line at 180 degrees longitude once and for all.
The tricky thing with the date
To shed light on the date problem, let us first think of Mr. Phileas Fogg. During his trip around the world in 80 days, the main character in the novel published by Jules Verne in 1872 had considerable problems with the time remaining at the end. Despite meticulous strategic planning, careful time accounting and a precise pocket watch, the English novel’s hero believed that he had lost the bet he made in the London club at the end of his strenuous trip around the globe.
Time zone order
The International Meridian Conference, convened at the suggestion of Sandford Fleming in October 1884, took these astronomical circumstances into account. It defined the system that is still in use today with 24 standard time zones, starting from the Greenwich meridian. The 180th degree of longitude and thus the international date line deliberately runs through the Pacific.
Cosmopolitan evolution
The latter realization prompted Patek Philippe to think again in recent years about its various time zone devices and the addition of a correct date display. This means a display that also takes into account the circumstances when crossing the date line. And that is exactly what the aforementioned reference 5330G-001 does, which will debut at Patek Philippe in 2023 in a limited Japan edition with a plum-colored dial and hand-guilloched center decoration.
World time as usual
First of all, the well-known world time indication with, in this case, a blue and white-labeled time zone ring catches the eye on this wristwatch. Back in 1999, the Geneva manufacturer presented the exclusive and therefore patented mechanism, which gradually changes the time zone and 24-hour ring as well as the local time hour hand without affecting the minute hand by pressing a button at “10”.
