In February 2024, TAG Heuer and Porsche entered into one of the strongest collaborations ever between a car manufacturer and a watchmaker. After five successful timepieces that have delighted fans of both brands, they are now presenting their sixth creation: the new Replica Tag Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Porsche Orange Racing, a model that underlines the unbroken passion of both brands for racing.

TAG Heuer and Porsche share a rich history, an independent, dynamic mentality and a commitment to outstanding design. Their paths have met and crossed on and off the racetrack for around 70 years. The solid, lasting connection between TAG Heuer and Porsche is based not least on their shared beginnings in motorsport, with one of the most obvious similarities undoubtedly being the name Carrera itself. The Carrera Panamericana is legendary and is considered one of the most dangerous races in the world.
The Porsche 911 Carrera and the TAG Heuer Carrera have since become icons, recently celebrated in Paris on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Porsche Carrera 911 RS 2.7.
Against the backdrop of several memorable successes and with the pride of such a fruitful partnership, it seemed only logical to develop a new special edition of the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph as the perfect symbol of the shared racing heritage.

The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Porsche Orange Racing
Based on the famous TAG Heuer Carrera Sport Chronograph, the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Porsche Orange Racing follows the TAG Heuer Carrera x Porsche Limited Edition. It maintains the quality and performance of the in-house Calibre Heuer 02, a movement manufactured entirely at TAG Heuer’s Chevenez factory and made up of 168 parts, including a column wheel and a vertical clutch. These features enable exceptional chronometric performance with an impressive power reserve of 80 hours.
Another key color of this special edition is black, which elegantly highlights the brightness of the orange through contrast. To achieve this harmonious surface with tasteful color accents, TAG Heuer designers used black in different textures and finishes.
The case has been coated with the highest quality black coating imaginable: diamond-like carbon (DLC), which is characterized by an extremely deep, elegant color and unmatched resistance. The finish of the black dial is all about dynamism and speed.
