Made of a special sinter of titanium and ceramics, the case, buttons, crown and even the bracelet of the new Pilot’s Watch 41 TOP GUN by Fake IWC are characterized by exceptional resistance to damage and an unusual color.
The result of this year’s cooperation between IWC Schaffhausen and Pantone (a company dealing with colors) is a whole range of colorful watches from the Pilot’s Watch TOP GUN line, headed by the two models already described by us: “Lake Tahoe” and “Woodland”. Somewhat overshadowed by these eye-catching models (especially the white “Lake Tahoe”, which looks amazing live) landed another new model – Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN Ceratenium. Under this somewhat lengthy name is, in my opinion, the most interesting of this year’s Fake IWC novelties.
Ceratenium made its debut in the Rhine Manufactory portfolio in 2019, in the complex Pilot’s Watch Double Chronograph TOP GUN. The new material turned out to be a combination of light titanium and damage-resistant ceramics, which together give a composite that is lightweight, resistant to mechanical damage, resistant to corrosion, uniform in its structure and with a matte, metallic shade of black. The color and specific texture of the surface are achieved in the final firing process. The new Pilot’s Watch therefore has a 41.1 mm diameter and 14.5 mm thick Ceratenium case, buttons and a crown made of the same material.
Under the sapphire glass, the Fake IWC has a monochrome, black and white dial in a typical “pilot” style, with simple hour indices, a large triangle at 4 o’clock. 12, a double date window at 3 and hands richly filled with luminium.
The hands are powered by an automatic caliber 69385 closed under a sapphire, slightly smoky caseback. The movement has a power reserve of 46 hours, a 4 Hz balance, a stopwatch with a column wheel, date and day of the week.
Fake IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN Ceratenium will be available in two options. The one shown in the photos is combined with a black rubber strap with a material insert. The second option is a bracelet made of Ceratenium. On the strap, the watch costs EUR 13 700 (~ PLN 63 700).
